The Frankenstein Project

Victor Frankenstein in The Frankenstein Project Off Broadway

As Victor Frankenstein, Mario is celebrating his Off Broadway debut written and directed by William Electric Black at Theatre for the New City. "The physically staged musical production, using four chairs, two platforms and an ensemble of 12 members depicts the book often using Mary Shelley’s own text to tell the Gothic tale of revenge after Victor’s reckless use of knowledge."

There is an opening for a princess, and Mario is part of it. Under the direction of Johanna Pinzler, choreography by Michelle Potterf, and music direction by Emily Croome. Mario is cast as dancer/ ensemble in Once Upon A Mattress. In addition to that, he is covering the role of Minstrel.

Mario got to be part of a new original musical reading by Thalia Ranjbar (book & lyrics) and Matt Graham (music) produced by the Latiné Musical Theatre Lab. The Lab's Table Reading Series presents readings of new musicals and musicals-in-development, written by Latiné-identifying writers and writing teams.

Mario is proud to announce that he is cast as a Dancer/ Ensemble member understudying the part of Lionel in The Heights Players' 68th season's production of Cinderella - Enchanted Edition. He is working with Director Felisha Heng, Assistant Director Morgan DeTogne, Choreographer Cassaundra Reed, and Music Director Anne Rebold.

Mario will sing the part of Marius in a number from Les Mis.

Musidorus in Head over Heels

Working with award-winning New York Times acclaimed director Stephen Nachamie, Mario got cast in the leading role of Musidorus in Head over Heels. This production is music directed by Joshua Zecher-Ross. JZR has worked on over 100 productions in New York and in the United States as a music director, orchestrator and conductor.

Johnny in Live, Laugh, Lie

Mario is delighted to announce his cast as Johnny in Live, Laugh, Lie - directed by Meghan E. Farley, who is currently the Associate director of SIX on broadway. The show was written by award winning composer Julio Vaquero, and incredible writer Aliza Sotsky, both NYU MFA musical theatre writing graduates. This production is music directed by Nick Sienkiewicz.

Mario started rehearsals for his role as King Charles in the PCMT production of Pippin at Battery Pl in Manhattan. Unfortunately the show was cancelled due to the rise of the pandemic.

Based on the 1959 Roger Corman film "The Wasp Woman", Mario got cast as scientist Zinthrop in this comedy musical workshop, with music by Arthur Lafrentz Bacon, book & lyrics by Harris Doran.

André in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

One of Broadway's funniest musicals is back in the city, in a production of PCMT of the New York Film Academy. Mario is cast as André, a corrupt French police chief and the co-lead of the show, charming and funny.

In August 2019, Mario will begin his journey rigorous two-year conservatory at the Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre at NYFA. The conservatory is known for its intense hands-on approach, including MainStage productions, stage work, as well as movie musical and camera work.
